They did that by developing – and patenting – a way for the left hand crank and the axle to have a perfect carbon to carbon interface. They have effectively aligned the fibers of the external and internal splines, keeping the weight super low and durability high.
The THM Clavicula SE crank fits any frame with a standard 68 mm BSA shell, and it is available for BB30, BB30A, Pressfit30, Shimano Pressfit, Italian threading, BB386 EVO, BBright™-Pressfit. It will also work for the Cervelo frame R5ca and the AX Lightness frame ViAL EVO, which are certainly two of the types of super lightweight bikes that will positively beg for the THM treatment to stay as light and snappy as possible. It is available in the three standard crank lengths, 170, 172.5, and 175mm. There is a rider bike (+ luggage, if any) weight limit of 120 kg (264 pounds) combined.
