Reliable Gearing of the GT-2 X for Steep Climbs

Designing the frame around 29-inch wheels and 2.25-inch tires means that grip and control will never be in doubt, even if you are way off-grid. It can be ridden with either a dropbar or flatbar set up. The frame requires gravel-specific or MTB groupsets like the Shimano GRX, Campagnolo Ekar or SRAM Wide options. It is 1x specific since you’ll likely need to have those emergency gears to help get you up and over steep climbs even when you are loaded down with all your camping equipment. The maximum front chainring size it can fit is 42 teeth, and you can choose from 27.2mm, 30.9, and 31.6 seatpost diameters, though the 27.2 is standard.
